Day 1: Cochin Munnar
Upon arrival at Cochin, our representative will accompany you to Munnar by road.
Located in south Kerala, Munnar is a treat for sore eyes. Picturesque hills, lush green tea plantations await you at this idyllic destination. It is one of the most popular hill stations in South India and was also a favorite summer resort of British officers during the colonial period.
Once in Munnar, check in at the hotel and unwind after the long journey.
Day 2: Munnar
After breakfast, explore Munnar for the rest of the day.
Visit the Tata Tea Museum for information on the evolution of tea and its production. A must visit site is the CSI Church that was built in 1910 and is characterized by gorgeous stained glass decorations and brass plaques. Also worth a visit is the Blossom International Park for its adventure tracks and underground meditation center.
Sleep like a log after a satisfying excursion.
Day 3: Munnar Kumarakom
Drive to Kumarakom after breakfast.
Kumarakom is a cluster of tiny islands in the backwaters of Kerala. A scenic destination indeed, Kumarakom is known for its mangrove forests and variety of flora and fauna. It is also a vacation spot for various migratory bird.
Spend the rest of the day relaxing in your hotel room after check in.
Day 4: Kumarakom
Indulge in exploring Kumarakom once you have had breakfast.
Make a trip to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary that is home to different varieties of birds such as wild ducks, waterfowls, cuckoos and the like. If you are lucky, you may also catch a glimpse of Siberian crane. It is also a great idea to boat in the backwaters and feel one with Mother Nature.
Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Kumarakom Kovalam
Drive to Kovalam after breakfast.
Kovalam, a beach town located on the coast of the Arabian Sea attracts several tourists each year. The town is also home to Indias first topless beach and is brimming with Ayurvedic salons and beach resorts.
Check in at the hotel and relax before setting out to enjoy beach activities at the Kovalam Beach. Retire for the night at the hotel.
Day 6: Kovalam
After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Kovalam.
Explore Kovalam beach, which has been divided, into three parts Lighthouse Beach, Hawah Beach and the Samudra Beach. Also visit Vizhinjam Lighthouse and mosque besides some other tourist hot spots located near the beach.
A peaceful sleep awaits you at the hotel on the last night of the tour.
Day 7: Kovalam Trivandrum
Transfers to the Trivandrum Airport or Railway station to catch your connecting flight or train back home will be provided in the morning, after breakfast.
