DAY 1 : ARRIVAL MUMBAI


Upon arrival in Mumbai, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to the hotel for check in.

Mumbai, often called the city of dreams is situated on the coast of the Arabian Sea and is the financial nerve center as well as the entertainment capital of the nation.

Spend the night in the hotel.

DAY 2 : MUMBAI - AURANGABAD


Transfer to the airport to take a flight to Aurangabad. Upon arrival, you will be received by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Visit the Ellora Caves shortly after check in.

In Ellora, there are 34 cave temples and out of these, 12 are Mahayana Buddhist caves, 17 are Hindu caves and 5 are caves of the Jain faith. Together these represent the epitome of Indian rock cut architecture.

Overnight at hotel.

DAY 3 : AURANGABAD - BHOPAL


Indulge in a full day trip to the Ajanta Caves.

A world heritage site, the Ajanta Caves are rock-cut cave monuments containing paintings and sculpture considered to be the best of Buddhist religious art. Several halls of residence and monuments or Stupas form the Ajanta Caves.

Later, transfer to Jalgaon railway station to board the train for Bhopal. Stay overnight in the train.

DAY 4 : BHOPAL


On arrival, you will be received by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Visit the Sanchi Stupa after resting a while.

The Stupa at Sanchi is a Buddhist site built over the relics of the Buddha. It is a world heritage site and attracts many Buddhists and tourists every year.

Retire for the night at the hotel.

DAY 5 : BHOPAL - AGRA


Transfer to the station to take the train to Agra - upon arrival in Agra, you will be received and transferred to the hotel. Check in and take some rest before visiting the beautiful Taj Mahal.

One of the Seven Wonders of the World and also a world heritage site, the Taj Mahal is a splendid monument built in immaculate white marble. The monument is testimony to the bond the Mughal ruler Shah Jahan shared with his wife Mumtaz Mahal, who had an untimely demise.

Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 6 : AGRA - VARANASI


Enjoy morning sightseeing of the city covering Agra Fort and Itimad-ud-daulah's Tomb after breakfast. Later, transfer to the airport to connect to the flight for Varanasi. Upon arrival, you will be received by our representative and transferred to the hotel.

The Agra Fort has seen several fluctuations in the Mughal Empire. A world heritage site, the Agra Fort is primarily built in red sandstone along with marble and offers a great view of the Taj Mahal.

Stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 7 : VARANASI - BODHGAYA


Enjoy a boat ride on the River Ganges early in the morning. Later, leave for Bodhgaya, visiting Sarnath on the way.

A prime Buddhist pilgrimage site, Sarnath is a deer park where the Buddha first preached Dharma. The site is especially of significance as it was mentioned by the Buddha as one of the four places of pilgrimage that must be visited by his followers.

Stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 8 : BODHGAYA


Visit to Mahabodhi Temple and Niranjana River.

Bodhgaya in Bihar is a significant Buddhist pilgrimage destination and is home to several Buddhist temples, the most important of which is the Mahabodhi Temple. It is a world heritage site and is also the place where the holy Bodhi tree can be found.

Stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 9 : BODHGAYA - PATNA


Visit Rajgir and Nalanda en route to Patna.

Rajgir is home to several ancient Buddhist monasteries like Gridhakuta, Pipphali House, Jivakarma and more. Nalanda on the other hand is the name of an ancient university in India where the Buddha is said to have stayed several times.

Check in at hotel upon arrival. Spend the night at the hotel.

DAY 10 : PATNA - DELHI


Transfer to the airport to board a flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be received and transferred to the hotel.

Delhi, national Capital of India is a city that has continuously evolved over the ages. The political seat of the nation, the media capital and corporate hub, it has truly turned into a world city.

Stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 11 : DELHI


Full day sightseeing of New and Old Delhi.

Sightseeing in Delhi is a varied experience. One can catch a glimpse of Mughal, Hindu and British architecture here. Popular tourist hot spots include the Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Jantar Mantar, Raj Ghat, President’s Residence and more. You can also enjoy shopping and eating out here.

Later transfer to the airport to board the flight to your next destination.
