DAY 1 : ARRIVAL DELHI


On arrival at Delhi, you will be escorted to the hotel by our representative. The Chief Chef will provide a short introduction to Indian Cookery soon after check in. Learn how to buy and identify Indian spices in a local market during the evening.

Spices and condiments are an indispensable facet of cooking in Indian. There are vast numbers of spices used in Indian cooking. In order to understand Indian cuisine better, one know about the most widely used spices.

Return to the hotel and enjoy a grand Indian dinner before sleeping. (D)

DAY 2 : DELHI


Explore places such as Laxmi Narayan Temple, India Gate, Parliament House, Jama Masjid, Red Fort. Some other places to visit are the Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, Jantar Mantar, and Rajghat. Lunch will be served at a restaurant serving authentic Indian cuisine.

After sightseeing, return to the hotel for the Cookery Demo of a Typical Indian Dinner by the Chief Chef of the hotel, in the Kitchen of the hotel. Prepare Dinner and enjoy the fruit of your labor.

After a day of cooking and exploring, sleep at the hotel. (B,L,D)

DAY 3 : DELHI – AGRA


Visit the tomb of Akbar at Sikandra on the way to Agra in the morning. Stop for lunch at a Highway restaurant, called a ‘Dhaaba’. On arrival, check in at the hotel followed by a short lecture on the Mughlai tradition of Cookery.

The Mughal rulers brought Mughlai Cuisine to India. Butter-based gravies and dry fruits chiefly characterize the cuisine, making it fit for royalty. Elaborate preparations and slow cooking/ roasting are also an inherent part of Mughlai fare. The gastronomical delights of Mughlai Cuisine are primarily non-vegetarian, with ample choice for vegetarians as well.

Dine and stay overnight at the hotel. (B,L,D)

DAY 4 : AGRA


Enjoy a full day city tour of eminent places of interest in Agra, such as Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb.

Taj Mahal is a magnificent mausoleum built by Shah Jahan after his beloved wife’s death. The Agra Fort has seen the ups and downs of the Mughal Empire. It is mostly built in red sandstone and offers a great vista of the Taj Mahal.

Enjoy Mughlai Cuisine during lunch. Return to the hotel after sightseeing and dine before retiring for the night. (B,L,D)

DAY 5 : AGRA – JAIPUR


Visit Fatehpur Sikri en route to Jaipur. Have Lunch in a restaurant serving authentic Rajasthani Cuisine after check in at the hotel. Indulge in sightseeing the city later.

Jaipur is brimming with architectural marvels of Rajput and Mughal origin. The City Palace occupies a large area divided into a series of courtyards, gardens and buildings and a perfect marriage of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. The Jantar Mantar Observatory is a royal astronomical observatory. Also explore the Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli and the Bazaars.

Stay overnight at the hotel. (B,L,D)

DAY 6 : JAIPUR


Begin a day excursion to Amber Fort with a regal ride on an elephant. Later, visit the Turban Museum and a Jaipur Theme Restaurant. Savor Rajasthani fare as you watch it being cooked right before you.

Food is serious business in Rajasthan. Lentils, spices, clarified butter and lentil flours are popular ingredients of Rajasthani cuisine, which is predominantly vegetarian. Chaats, snacks and Desserts of Rajasthan are well liked throughout India. Some of its delicacies are Raj Kachori, Daal Baati Churma, Gatte ki Sabzi, Ghevar, Rabri, Malpua, to name a few.

The chef here will cook a traditional Rajasthani meal, addressing you on the traditional ways of cooking, and describing the herbs and spices used. After the last scrumptious dinner of the trip, return to the hotel to rest. (B,L,D)

DAY 7 : JAIPUR - DELHI DEPARTURE


Drive back to Delhi after breakfast to catch a flight to your home country.
